OFFICIAL: Song Il Gook and Daehan Minguk Manse Announce Their Departure from “The Return of Superman”

Actor Song Il Gook and his triplets, Daehan, Minguk, and Manse, have officially announced that they will be leaving KBS’s “The Return of Superman.”
On December 22, the production crew reported that “Yesterday (December 21), Song Il Gook and the triplets, Daehan, Minguk, and Manse, took part in their last filming. We still have a lot of footage left, so the final footage/their last episode is planned to air in February 2016.”

We weren’t able to confirm a departure because filming was ongoing. However, due to recent issues, the crew and decided to film the final episode after discussions. We ask for your understanding and apologize about [the confusion] and unclear reports on the Song family’s departure. We’d like to thank the viewers who have given Song Il Gook and Daehan, Minguk, and Manse their love and affection. The crew of ‘The Return of Superman’ were happy to watch over the growth of Daehan, Minguk, and Manse for the past year and a half. Thank you to the viewers for letting us watch them grow with you. We have only words of thanks to the real ‘Superman,’ Song Il Gook, a man who has moved us many times [through the show]. We support actor Song Il Gook, who is taking part in wonderful [acting] roles.”
The triplets and their father joined the show in July 2014, and will be leaving after more than a year on the show.
